I'm a reader and a writer, who believes in the power of words.

I love Jesus and His message. I love Him for everything He was and is: Savior. Lord. Radical. Outcast. Feminist. Friend.

My sister and I are freakishly connected but she is my best friend so it's ok. 

I try not to throw stones, but it's hard.

Ireland is my Place.

History is my thing.

Cooking is cathartic for me.

Favorite smells: Autumn leaves, balsam candles, and summer.

I can be pretty insecure and hard on myself.

My husband makes me laugh every day. Even when his jokes are bad.

I'm a librarian and an archivist-in-training.

Heroes: Louisa May Alcott, John Muir, and Jane Goodall. And my parents. And my grandparents, come to that.
